Terry Brown

Terry is a lawyer and business advisor and has been advising clients for over 35 years, specialising for the past 20 years in tax debt negotiation.

Terry’s business advisory expertise has seen him become the founding director of several high
profile Australian businesses and professional services firms, providing a unique perspective on the taxation issues faced by businesses and business owners. As the managing partner of a commercial legal practice, Terry dealt with countless negotiations across property, medical and commercial industries.

As a taxation specialist, Terry works closely with both clients and the ATO/OSR to establish
relationships that will secure the best outcomes for clients. Having dealt with highly complex tax debt issues, Terry is skilled in knowing when to call in external advisors, such as accountants, to help the ATO understand the complexities of a client’s situation. Terry’s mastery enables him to translate the most complicated taxation problems into what is possible, what information is
available, and what the ATO requires to make the relevant decision.

Through a lifetime of helping people, Terry has a holistic view of people in difficult positions, and an approach to tax debt resolution grounded in empathy.  Terry is a registered Tax Practitioner with the Tax Practitioners Board, a member of the Law Society of NSW, a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries and a founding and current director of the McGrath Foundation.

What Our Clients Say About TERRY

“My company was gone and the ATO were not listening and not prepared to give me any more time. They were winding us up. But for your intervention I would have lost everything. Now I have a thriving business employing over 50 people. I will never be able to thank you enough.”
